Dr. George Vandegrift is a separations and process chemist who has been at Argonne National Laboratory for 31 years. His current position is Senior Technical Adviser in the Chemical Engineering Division. He is currently the principal investigator for two major activities at Argonne: (1) Conversion of Mo-99 production from high-enriched to low-enriched uranium in the Reduced Enrichment for Research and Test Reactors program and (2) development of aqueous (UREX+) processing for the Global Nuclear Energy Partnership (GNEP).
